Betting line transacts more than 600 million VND per day
Tran Khac Dung, 35 years old, residing in Nam Dan district, Nghe An, and 20 others were arrested by the police for organizing football betting and online lottery, with daily transactions of more than 600 million VND.

According to the investigation results, the football betting and lottery number recording ring led by Dung has been operating for many months in Nghe An and Ha Tinh, mainly transacting via text messages and social networks.
On the evening of December 23, Ha Tinh Police coordinated with Nghe An Police to mobilize hundreds of officers to raid many transaction points of this network in Ky Anh, Cam Xuyen, Thach Ha districts, Ha Tinh city (Ha Tinh) and Nam Dan district (Nghe An).
Police arrested 21 people, seized 360 million VND, 3 cars, 20 bank cards, 36 phones and tablets, and many related exhibits.

Authorities determined that the average daily transaction value of the ring was around 600 million VND. Accumulated over a month, the gambling amount was up to tens of billions of VND.
