Hundreds of 'Warm Tet for Children' gifts come to students in Quy Chau district
(Baonghean.vn) - This is one of the activities of the peak week in the journey "Proud of Vietnamese student tradition" launched by the Nghe An Provincial Student Association, bringing hundreds of meaningful gifts, to share the difficulties of mountainous students through the program "Warm Tet for children in 2020".
On the morning of January 15, the Secretariat of the Vietnamese Student Association of Nghe An province in collaboration with the Vietnamese Student Association at the University of South Australia visited and presented gifts to students of Chau Phong Ethnic Boarding School - Secondary School, Quy Chau district.

With the desire that students in difficult circumstances can celebrate the traditional Tet holiday in a warm and joyful atmosphere; contributing to encouraging and motivating them to overcome their circumstances and achieve good results in studying and training, the delegation presented 30 "Warm Winter" gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties and 400 red scarves to students of Chau Phong Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.
At the program, the delegation also donated and installed 5 water purifiers at Chau Phong Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities - Secondary School, Chau Phong 1 Primary School, Chau Phong 2 Primary School, Chau Hoan Primary School, and Dien Lam Kindergarten to improve the quality of domestic water for remote areas, especially to improve the lives of people and students in mountainous areas.

Representatives of the Vietnam Student Association of Nghe An province presented students and the school with a playground for children in Dien Lam commune. This is also a student project to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the tradition of students and the Vietnam Student Association (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2020).

The program “Warm Tet for Children” aims to promote the spirit of mutual love and affection of cadres, members, youth and students joining hands to help and support people in mountainous areas and areas with difficult socio-economic conditions; clearly demonstrating the spirit of volunteerism, responsibility and sharing of Nghe An students with the community and society, especially in remote, isolated and disadvantaged areas.
