More than 2,000 disabled and disadvantaged children in Nghe An received free medical examinations and medicine.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 8, the Nghe An Provincial Children's Fund coordinated with Vinh Medical University Hospital and the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of South Nghe An to organize free medical examinations and provide free medicine to disabled children and children in disadvantaged mountainous areas.
The program was held at the Provincial Center for Education and Vocational Training for the Disabled and Thanh Chuong, Do Luong, and Quy Hop districts to join hands with the community to take care of the health of disabled children and children in difficult mountainous areas with little access to health care.
Through the program, some children were promptly detected with diseases such as: congenital heart disease, cleft lip, cleft palate, motor, genitourinary... to create a profile to call for funding for free surgery.

The program takes place from December 8 to 11, 2022, and is expected to examine and provide medicine to more than 2,000 children, with a total cost of VND 200 million sponsored by the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Nam Nghe An./.
