Hung Nguyen plans to evacuate people if water rises to alert level 2

Through testing, it shows that currently the inkLam River waterhas risen about 4 meters higher than when the hydropower plants had not yet discharged floodwaters. Chau Nhan commune is located outside the Lam River dike, so water flooded in very quickly. Currently, the roads are flooded, with some spots being 1.5 - 2 meters deep. Currently, the entire commune has about 400 households that are threatened and isolated.

After grasping the situation, comrade Nguyen Thi Thom requested Chau Nhan commune to prepare human and material resources, mobilize maximum means and have timely response plans, evacuate households in dangerous areas to safe places if the water rises. Especially pay attention to the elderly, children, and families in difficult circumstances.

At the same time, households in dangerous areas must urgently raise their properties, stock up on food, move livestock to safe places, and monitor the weather to respond promptly when the water rises.

Chau Nhan Commune must promptly report the situation to the leaders of Hung Nguyen district when incidents occur in order to have effective direction and coordination plans to minimize damage caused by flooding.

According to forecasts, the water level in Chau Nhan commune will continue to rise by 30 - 40 cm today. Currently, the authorities and people here have prepared plans to deal with flooding.
