Arriving at Tam Dinh Primary School early in the morning, I saw quite a lot of students coming to borrow and read books. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hieu, a teacher at the school, said: “I regularly go to the library three times a week to open it to serve the students. Every day, there are about 100 students coming to borrow and read books on the spot.”
According to Nguyen Tran Yen Nhi, a student at Tam Quang 1 Primary School: "When there is no summer vacation, there is not much time to read books because I still have to study in class and at home. Therefore, in the summer, I take advantage of going to school to read and borrow books to read at home to improve my knowledge."
Initial statistics show that up to 85% of the total number of schools in Tuong Duong district have opened their libraries to serve students during the summer. Schools with teachers living far away have coordinated with the Youth Union in charge of the area to open their libraries to welcome students.

Ms. Vo Thi Tuyet Chinh - Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Tuong Duong district said: The playgrounds of mountainous students are still lacking, so from the beginning of summer, the Department has directed all schools to organize healthy and useful activities for students to participate in during the summer.
Opening the school library for students to read and borrow books is an activity that many schools have implemented quite effectively. Students will have the opportunity to both study and play, review and expand their knowledge. At the same time, through reading books and newspapers, students will limit going to rivers and streams, reduce the risk of drowning, as well as stay away from other unhealthy games and social evils.
