Covid-19 test results of woman who illegally entered from China to Thanh Chuong

Doctor Pham Ngoc Luan - Director of Thanh Chuong District Medical Center informed: The case of illegal entry from Yunnan province, China to the district is Ms. LTC, born in 1992, in Thanh Tien village, Thanh Son commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Ms. LTC returned home on the morning of December 8, 2020. Immediately afterwards, Ms. LTC's family informed the People's Committee of Thanh Son Commune. The People's Committee directed the police force to take her to the commune health station to make a medical declaration and undergo a screening examination; and at the same time, report to the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Thanh Chuong District. The screening examination results showed that Ms. LTC had signs of cough and fever.

Ms. LTC was quarantined at the health station. On the afternoon of December 8, Ms. LTC's test sample was sent to the provincial Center for Disease Control for testing.Covid-19.

Through epidemiological investigation, Thanh Chuong district discovered that 2 people from Thanh Duc commune returned on the same bus. These 2 people then went to a funeral and came into contact with 52 other people. The Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Thanh Chuong district requested all these people not to leave their homes, to monitor their health at home; to temporarily suspend teaching activities in Thanh Duc commune, awaiting test results.

At 10:35 this morning, the leader of the Provincial Center for Disease Control called to inform that Ms. LTC's Covid-19 test result was negative for SARS-CoV-2.

With this result, Ms. LTC will continue to be isolated and monitored at Thanh Son Commune Health Station. Related people will continue to be monitored at home. Teaching and learning activities in the area will return to normal - said Dr. Pham Ngoc Luan./.
