Accordingly, Nghe An Electricity strives to create the most convenience for customers when paying electricity bills, through forms such as transferring money through the banking system, automatically deducting from bank accounts, transferring money via applications on smartphones...
Referring to the characteristics of Yen Thanh as an agricultural district, where electricity customers currently mainly pay their electricity bills in cash, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Loi hopes that through the conference, the parties will continue to widely propagate to customers to promote cashless electricity payments.
With this form of payment, when the customer's account does not have enough money to pay the electricity bill, the bank will still pay first and the customer will deposit money into the account later. At the same time, experiencing this service, customers do not need to go to the transaction counter every month to pay the electricity bill as before. This is a particularly convenient point in the context of the complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic as it is today.

Yen Thanh is one of the first localities in the province chosen by Nghe An Electricity to coordinate with Agribank and VNPT to implement cooperation in collecting electricity bills through bank accounts and via phone apps.
Currently, nearly 7,000/100,000 electricity customers in Yen Thanh district pay their electricity bills through bank accounts, or less than 10%, while the potential to promote this content is still very large, as currently 50-60% of existing customers already have bank accounts.
