Provincial Labor Federation presents 'Union Shelter' house to union members in difficulty
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 16, the Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Hung Nguyen District Labor Federation to organize the handover of "Union Shelters" to union members in difficult circumstances in the area.
Ms. Hoang Thi Lieu is a member of the Thanh Cong Brick and Tile Joint Stock Company's Union, in Hamlet 4, Hung Dao Commune (Hung Nguyen). Her situation is very difficult. Her husband does not have a stable job, has to raise 2 children to go to school, and the whole family lives in a dilapidated house.

Sharing the situation with Ms. Lieu's family, the Provincial and District Labor Federations supported 40 million VND to build a house; the Company's Labor Union also supported the family with 3 million VND and bricks to help her family. With the support of colleagues, agencies, and localities, after 5 months of construction, the house with an area of 110 m2 and a value of 300 million VND was put into use. On this occasion, the Hung Nguyen District Labor Federation also presented a gas stove to the family.
This is one of the houses built from the "Union Shelter" fund to help share difficulties so that union members can stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind.
