(Baonghean.vn) - Due to the impact of storm No. 6, heavy rain occurred in Anh Son district. River and stream water rose, causing flooding and local isolation in some areas.

Continuous and prolonged heavy rain has caused local flooding of many roads and bridges in some localities in Anh Son district. Specifically, in Tho Son commune, there are 2 bridges, the bridge to village 9 and the bridge to village 1, which are flooded, making it difficult for people to travel. Heavy rain and rising water also flooded the Gon bridge, the section adjacent to the road to Chau Tam, Veu 4 village, Phuc Son commune, separating 4 villages in the Cao Veu border area. In addition, heavy rain also caused water levels in streams and creeks to rise and caused landslides in many localities in the district.

Faced with the above situation, Anh Son district has directed localities to increase propaganda and warn people to absolutely not travel until the water recedes, and at the same time assign people to guard 24/7 at flooded areas, strictly prohibiting people and vehicles from passing through.

Currently, Phuc Son Border Guard Station also assigned officers along with local authorities to be on duty at Gon overflow bridge to control passersby.
