Ms. Thai Thi Hai Chau - Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Nguyen district said: This morning, the relief team of MC Dai Nghia and the nuns in the volunteer group from Ho Chi Minh City arrived in Hung Nguyen to give 1,000 gifts to people in flooded areas. We distributed them to people in Hung Dao, Hung Loi, Chau Nhan communes, which are the localities most heavily flooded in the past few days.

As a downstream area, water from upstream is still continuously pouring in, so as of the morning of October 3, the localities located near the Lam River dike in Hung Nguyen district are still submerged in water. People's lives have not yet returned to normal. It is known that the district's Fatherland Front Committee is currently contacting businesses, units, and volunteer groups to continue providing relief to people until the water recedes.
