Grasping information about workers leaving en masse at a company with more than 6,000 workers in Dien Chau district
(Baonghean.vn) - At noon on October 2, after lunch, many workers of VietGlory Company Limited in Dien Truong Commune (Dien Chau) did not take a lunch break but left en masse. The Dien Chau District Labor Federation and relevant authorities were present at the enterprise to gather information.
According to recorded information, on the morning of October 2, more than 6,000 workers of VietGlory Company Limited still went to work as usual. However, after lunch, these workers did not take a nap like other days.
At 12:45, the afternoon shift began, and these people all went down to the garage and left instead of returning to the factory to work. Only those who worked independently and were not part of the production line stayed.

Immediately after receiving the information, Dien Chau District Labor Federation and relevant authorities were present to grasp information at the enterprise.
Sharing with reporters, Mr. Ha Huy Dong - Chairman of the Dien Chau District Labor Federation said: "According to our records, workers quit their jobs for two main reasons: They want to increase their basic salary and review the product contract level. We are continuing to work with businesses and workers to report the situation to the Provincial Labor Federation."
According to regulations, the regional minimum wage that VietGlory Company Limited must pay its workers is 3,640,000 VND/month. Currently, the company has paid its workers 4,130,000 VND/month, higher than the regulated level.

Although orders have decreased, the company still maintains enough work to not have to lay off any workers. The company representative also said that the company is preparing to implement phase 2 construction with a factory scale much larger than the current one.
VietGlory Company Limited was established on November 19, 2019 under Certificate No. 2902020657 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Nghe An province, located at Hamlet 8, Dien Truong Commune, Dien Chau District, Nghe An Province, currently has over 6,000 workers working and the company is in the process of constructing phase 2.
Previously, at this company, there was also a situation where workers voluntarily stopped working after the Lunar New Year holidays in 2021 and 2022. The main reason was because workers wanted a salary increase, clarity about the regimes; labor conflicts... After the participation of the Dien Chau District Labor Federation and Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation to resolve the issue, the company established a grassroots union in March 2021.
