Mai Hac De's real name was Mai Thuc Loan, born in 670, died in 723, was the leader of the uprising.uprisingagainst the occupation ofTang Dynastyin Vietnam in the early 8th century.

Lighting incense sticks, leaders of the Department of Culture & Sports; District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, departments, branches and organizations of Nam Dan district; Party Committee, authorities of Nam Thai commune and Nam Dan town, together with people inside and outside the region expressed their respect, admiration and gratitude to the hero Mai Thuc Loan.

At the same time, review the glorious history of the Mai Thuc Loan uprising, the heroic sacrifice of King Mai and his righteous generals in the fight against the Tang invaders, establishing the independent Van An country in the 8th century.
