Male student won first prize in Physics: 'No need to study a lot, but have to study effectively'

These days, Dao Quang Trung - a 12T1 student at Do Luong 1 High School is filled with joy with the achievements he has reaped in the recent Provincial Excellent Student Competition.

Trung said: “During my primary school years, I studied normally, but when I entered secondary school, I realized that studying was important, so from the beginning of the year, I always tried to achieve high results. Therefore, in grades 6, 7, 8, and 9, I was awarded the title of District Excellent Student in Mathematics."

Promoting this achievement, in high school, I passed the entrance exam to class T1, and my passion for Natural subjects helped me always achieve high results, especially from grade 10 to grade 12, I always achieved Excellent Student in Physics.

In the recent Provincial Excellent Student Exam for Grade 12, Trung won first prize in Physics with a score of 17.63 on a 20-point scale. During the exam, Trung did the easy questions first, then the difficult ones. There were 2 difficult questions, including the question “Mechanical Waves” in question number 4, which Trung finished just before the end of the 150-minute exam time.

Talking about his own learning experience, Trung shared: “My learning experience is to learn from basic to advanced. During the learning process, you don't need to learn a lot but you have to learn to understand and be effective. I often learn about the exam program online, and also often exchange and learn from my classmates, especially my subject teacher Nguyen Van Tien. To learn and understand, when studying, you have to concentrate, not be distracted by social networks such as Zalo, Facebook, or video games. Get enough sleep to ensure your body is comfortable. I usually only study until 11:30 pm and then rest.”

Talking about student Dao Quang Trung, teacher Nguyen Van Tien said: “Trung is an active student, making great efforts in the learning process. Although he was good at Math in middle school, when he was in high school and was exposed to Physics, Trung learned very quickly and studied hard. With his passion for researching difficult Physics problems, he won first prize in the recent exam, this is the first prize in Physics that the school has been waiting for for more than 10 years.”

Along with studying hard, Trung always helps and shares with his classmates how to solve difficult Math and Physics problems. “Trung is an excellent student, in addition, he often helps his friends, participates actively in extracurricular activities, and plays soccer well,” said Nguyen Duc Bao Hoang.

In addition to Dao Quang Trung's First Prize in Physics, this year's Provincial Excellent Student Contest for Grade 12 students, Do Luong 1 High School also had 9 students winning Second Prizes, 10 students winning Third Prizes and 4 students winning Encouragement Prizes in other subjects./.
