Male student of Vinh Medical University died in canal
(Baonghean.vn) - On the way home from a trip, when stopping to wash his hands at canal N1 (an irrigation canal downstream of Ke Go Lake, Ha Tinh), a male student drowned.
The tragic drowning incident occurred on the afternoon of April 24, on canal N1, My Ha village (Cam My commune, Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh).
The victim was Dang Duy Linh (born 2002, student at Vinh Medical University).
It is known that on the afternoon of April 24, Linh and a group of friends went out to play and sightsee in the Ke Go Lake area (Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh). When returning, passing through the N1 canal, Linh and her friends stopped the car to wash their hands. Unfortunately, Linh fell into the N1 canal and waswater washed away.

A friend jumped in to save Linh but also drowned. People heard her cries for help and ran to save her friend, but Linh was missing.
By late afternoon of April 24, search and rescue forces had foundbodyLinh on channel N1. When she was pulled up, Linh was still wearing her helmet and carrying her bag.

It is known that Linh is from Hai Duong province. Relatives went to the scene to receive her body and bring it back to her hometown to hold the funeral.
