Nghe An young man fined for posting news that he tested positive for Covid-19 on April Fool's Day
(Baonghean.vn) - Que Phong District Police said that the unit has just handled a Facebook account owner who posted false content about the Covid-19 epidemic, with a fine of 10 million VND.
Accordingly, at 9:40 a.m. on April 1, 2020, the District Police discovered that the Facebook account "Thang Hau" posted the status "Positive for Covid19, what to do... it's over... everyone...". In the comment section, the account CTN continued to affirm that he was infected with Corona.
During the verification, Que Phong District Police identified the owner of the above Facebook account as VVT, currently a freelance worker in Cam Muon commune.

Summoned for investigation at the Que Phong District Police Department on the afternoon of April 1, VVT admitted that he posted the above status to tease his friends on April Fool's Day.
After being explained the relevant legal provisions, VVT realized that his behavior was a violation of the law, committed not to repeat the offense, removed the above status line, and corrected the information.

Pursuant to Point a, Clause 3, Article 64, Decree 174 dated November 13, 2013 of the Government "Regulations on administrative sanctions for violations in the fields of post, telecommunications, information technology and radio frequencies", Que Phong District Police have fined VVT VND 10,000,000 to the State Treasury.
