Improve the quality of comprehensive propaganda about Vinh City on Nghe An Newspaper

On the morning of April 4, Nghe An Newspaper and Vinh City Party Committee held a meeting to evaluate the propaganda, distribution and use of Party newspapers between Vinh City Party Committee and Nghe An Newspaper in 2018.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Pham Thi Hong Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper; Tran Huu Nghia - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper and heads of specialized departments.

On the Vinh City Party Committee side, there was comrade Nguyen Van Lu - Permanent Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Vinh City People's Council and other city leaders.

In 2018, the Vinh City Party Committee, Vinh City People's Committee and Nghe An Newspaper had very good coordination in disseminating information on bringing the Party's Resolution into life, the socio-economic development situation, and Party building of Vinh City on Nghe An Newspaper publications.

Since the beginning of the year, the two units have agreed to develop a detailed and specific propaganda plan on publications; during the implementation process, there has been close interaction and coordination, so the content, form and effectiveness of the propaganda have been more effective, contributing to the economic and social development of the city.

In 2018, the two sides coordinated to promote comprehensive propaganda on economy, culture, society, Party building, and political system building at all levels.

Nghe An Newspaper has hundreds of articles about Vinh City in all publications with rich and vivid forms of expression. It is the locality with the highest number of propaganda articles in Nghe An Newspaper compared to other districts and towns. All areas such as Party building, culture - society, law, economy... have many rich and vivid articles.

Especially in 2018, Nghe An Newspaper successfully carried out economic topics, series of articles on the implementation of projects borrowing capital from the World Bank to build infrastructure; programs, projects, efforts of Vinh city in building Vinh into the North Central Center, clearing land, attracting investment, developing tourism economy... Building a series of events in print and electronic newspapers: "Building a civilized and modern Vinh City", "Clearing Vinh urban sidewalks" with over 100 news, articles, photo series, video clips... creating a deep impression on a large number of readers.

At the meeting, the two sides reviewed the coordination of propaganda work over the past year and proposed solutions to make propaganda more effective in the coming year.

Comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan - Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper hopes that in the coming time, the two sides will closely coordinate in the process of providing information and propaganda, ensuring objectivity, accuracy, honesty and effectiveness. The two sides will increase information exchange, especially on sensitive issues.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Van Lu - Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee highly appreciated the role, sense of responsibility, and standards of Nghe An Newspaper in guiding public opinion and propagating about Vinh City in the past time, the close coordination between the two sides, and at the same time hoped that Nghe An Newspaper would continue to accompany, encourage, and comprehensively propagate about Vinh City more in 2019.

Vinh City also hopes that Nghe An Newspaper will accompany the city in promoting good people and good deeds, coordinating to train young writers; promoting propaganda on hot issues such as preventing urban traffic congestion, smart cities, contributing to building Vinh into a center of the North Central region.
