Nghe An: Arrested young man who invited friends to cut down forest to plant acacia
(Baonghean.vn) - After 1 day of cutting down the forest, Ngan Van Hoi invited Duong Danh Hung, born in 1982, residing in Lam Hoi village, Chau Hoi commune, Quy Chau district, to join. Hoi and Hung cut down the forest for 3 days and burned the trees they had cut down to plant acacia trees.
Previously, in early April 2020, Ngan Van Hoi, born in 1987, residing in Khum village, communeChau Hoi, Quy Chau district arbitrarily entered the forest area of Co Ba Forestry in the commune.Chau Binh, Quy Chau district, cut down the forest to plant acacia trees for themselves. After cutting down the forest for 1 day, Hoi invited Duong Danh Hung, born in 1982, residing in the villageLam Hoi, Chau Hoi commune, Quy Chau district participated. Hoi and Hung togetherdeforestation3 days and burned the trees that were cut down to plant acacia.

Early July 2020,Co Ba Forestdiscovered, invited Hoi to work. However, through work, Hoi did not comply but together with Hung continued to cut down the forest. During the period from July 11 to July 15, 2020, Hoi and Hung cut down the forest adjacent to the previously cut down area.

Based on the available evidence, on August 28, 2020, the C.C. Investigation Police AgencyMr. An, Quy Chau districtprosecuted and issued an arrest warrant for Ngan Van Hoi and Duong Danh Hung for the crime of "Forest destruction" under Clause 3, Article 243 of the Penal Code.
Currently, the authorities are focusing on investigating and expanding the case.
