(Baonghean.vn) - A 31-month-old girl was admitted to the hospital with her face covered in deep, dangerous wounds. The cause was that she was attacked by her own dog.
According to the family, baby H was playing and eating snacks when suddenly the German Shepherd dog at home attacked the baby. When the family discovered the incident, they rushed over but the baby was bleeding profusely from the face. Immediately after, baby H was taken to the district hospital for first aid, to stop the bleeding and then transferred directly to Nghe An Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital.
Doctor Pham Thi Van - Department of Dentistry - Ophthalmology, Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital said: Patient H had many wounds from being bitten by a dog, including wounds on the chin, right cheek, right nostril, especially on the upper and lower eyelids of the right eye, there were many very complicated and dangerous tears.

It is worth mentioning that recently, on October 5, Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital also received and performed surgery on a 31-month-old girl in Nam Son commune, Do Luong district who was bitten by a dog and suffered serious facial injuries.
