Nghe An urgently quarantines the entire family of a pho restaurant employee who had contact with a Covid-19 patient
(Baonghean.vn) - While working in Hanoi, a young man from Hung Nguyen district came into contact with a customer and was later confirmed positive for Covid-19.
On the morning of February 14, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thanh - Director of Hung Nguyen District Medical Center said that the unit had just taken a sample for testing of an F1 case, residing in Hung Thong commune. This 25-year-old man works at a pho restaurant in Hanoi.
"Since last night, immediately after receiving the notice, we have taken this person and the other two members of his family to the commune health station for immediate quarantine, and at the same time conducted an epidemiological investigation. Currently, the Hung Thong commune government has also issued a notice advising people in this hamlet to limit leaving their homes," said Mr. Thanh.

According to epidemiological investigation, on January 27, while working at a pho restaurant, this young man had contact with a customer from Cam Giang, Hai Duong. On February 2, this customer was taken to a centralized quarantine because he was in the F1 category of patient 1851. On February 12, he tested positive for Covid-19.
Meanwhile, on February 9 (ie 28th of Tet), this male employee took a bus back to his hometown in Nghe An to celebrate Tet. During his time in his hometown, he came into contact with many people through year-end parties; campfires at the village cultural house...
"Currently, this young man has not shown any unusual symptoms. Test results are expected to be available at noon on February 14," Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thanh added./.
