The Provincial People's Committee issued Notice No. 593/TB - UBND (dated October 7), conveying the conclusion of Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the meeting with the Department of Transport on September 23 on directions and tasks in the coming time.

At this meeting, the Department of Transport said: Currently, the traffic volume in Vinh city has increased dramatically, causing traffic congestion at some intersections during rush hour.

Therefore, the Department of Transport proposed the Provincial People's Committee to approve and allocate capital to prepare for investment in the construction of different traffic intersections at three places where traffic jams often occur, such as: the intersection between Nguyen Van Cu Street and Nguyen Sy Sach Street; the intersection between Le Hong Phong Street and Nguyen Van Cu Street; the intersection between Le Loi Street, Nguyen Sy Sach Street and Phan Boi Chau Street.

Accordingly, in the conclusion announcement, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Vinh City People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Transport to urgently direct the Consultant to prepare a project to adjust the planning and submit it to the Department of Construction for appraisal and the Provincial People's Committee for approval to ensure progress as a basis for calling for and mobilizing investment capital sources for construction works.
