Nghe An: Highlights on July 14

* On the morning of July 14, within the framework of the working program in Lao PDR,Comrade Thai Thanh Quy- Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province visited and worked in Vientiane province.

Comrade Khamphan Sitthidampha - Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Secretary, Governor of Vientiane province expressed his pleasure to welcome Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and the high-ranking delegation of Nghe An province to visit; highly appreciated the significance of the working trip in continuing to build and develop the relationship between the two sides.

On behalf of the leaders of Nghe An province, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy expressed his joy at coming to Vientiane province, meeting again with comrade Khamphan Sitthidampha and the provincial leaders.

Although the time of the high-ranking delegation of Nghe An province visiting and working in Vientiane province was not long, the Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee shared that the working trip brought with it many feelings, multiplying the solidarity and traditional friendship between Nghe An and Vientiane provinces. * On the morning of July 14, in Quang Tri province, the Ministry of Education and Training held a Conference on Education and Training Development in the North Central and Central Coast regions to 2030, with a vision to 2045; implementing Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW dated November 3, 2022 of the Politburo on socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the North Central and Central Coast regions to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

At the conference,Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized 5 groups of issuesto strive to turn the region into a center of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship, capable of providing high-quality human resources for the region and the whole country.

* On the morning of July 14, on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), on behalf of the provincial leaders, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu visitedvisit and give gifts to policy familiesin two border communes Nhon Mai and Mai Son, Tuong Duong district.

Also in the morning, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieuattend the inauguration ceremony of the people's bridgePha Mut village and the groundbreaking ceremony of the Nhon Mai village bridge, Nhon Mai commune, Tuong Duong district. * On the morning of July 14, the working delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee conductedmineral exploitation inspectionin Yen Thanh and Nghi Loc districts.

In Yen Thanh district, the delegation inspected Voi cliff area, the border between Nam Thanh and Trung Thanh communes.

On the same day, the working group also inspected a number of land fill mines in Nghi Hung commune (Nghi Loc) that have been licensed to exploit for the construction of the North-South expressway, as well as leveling the ground for the WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An Industrial Park Project.

* Morning of July 14,Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An provinceorganized the 11th Conference, term XIV, term 2019-2024. At the conference, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received the title of Typical Cultural Standard Agency for the period 2018-2022.

* The 9th session of the 22nd City People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, reviewed and resolvedpassed 7 resolutions on socio-economicsand activities of the City People's Council, including giving opinions on the expected public investment plan for 2024.

Accordingly, the City People's Council has approved the city's planned public investment plan for 2024 with 99 new investment projects and projects in preparation for investment. The total public investment capital for 2024 from the city budget is VND 3,200 billion.
