Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung said that despite such difficult conditions, the province's socio-economic development results in 2021 were quite positive. The estimated budget revenue in 2021 reached 17,678 billion VND; expected growth reached 6.25%. In particular, the agricultural sector had a good growth rate, the industrial production index and export turnover were high, investment attraction improved...

*SOn November 27, the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council organizedreview 2 draft resolutionsrelated to land use conversion and land recovery to carry out projects in the province.
Accordingly, 2 draft resolutions were examined, including the Draft Resolution approving the list of works and projects requiring land recovery according to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 62 of the Land Law in the province; the Draft Resolution on converting the purpose of using rice-growing land, protective forest land, and special-use forest land according to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 58 of the Land Law to implement works and investment projects in Nghe An province.
Previously, delegates examined the draft resolution amending and supplementing the land price list for the period 2020 - 2024. Meeting members proposed that the Provincial People's Committee study increasing land prices in urban areas to increase budget revenue and distance residents in this area.

The search for US soldiers missing in action (MIA) has been ongoing in many provinces and cities of Vietnam for over 30 years. The Vietnamese government has conducted 156 repatriations of more than 900 sets of remains to the US government.
Thanh Tien commune is currently undergoing the 145th MIA operation in Vietnam. Excavations have been underway at the site for 30 days and are expected to last for another 2 weeks.

This year's citrus output is estimated at over 50,000 tons; the whole province has nearly 250 hectares of vegetables and tubers produced according to VietGAP and organic standards; 165 net houses and greenhouses with a total area of over 27 hectares. In addition, the supply of aquatic and livestock products is very high quality and abundant. In 2019 - 2020, Nghe An has 106 products meeting OCOP standards.
