Nghe An deploys large-scale vaccination for workers

September 11, 2021,People's Committee of Vinh Cityhas issued Official Dispatch No. 5967/UBND-YT to wards, communes, agencies, departments, branches, and enterprises in the city on reviewing vaccination subjects to promptly have the number and list to report to the Department of Health to request vaccine allocation, deadline until 2:00 p.m. on September 12, 2021.

Urgently compile a list of subjectsvaccination,According to Ms. Tran Thi Cam Tu - Vice Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee, the aim is to deploy vaccination as soon as possible. In addition to Vinh City, on September 10, the Nghi Loc District Medical Center also deployed a vaccination campaign for 350 officers and workers of ROYAL FOOD Co., Ltd. and Massan MB Co., Ltd. located in Nam Cam Industrial Park. It is expected that in the near future, nearly 2,580 officers, workers and laborers at Nam Cam Industrial Park will also be vaccinated against Covid-19.

According to statistics, currently atSoutheast Economic ZoneThere are 130 enterprises, business households and 49 contractors and service units operating in the economic zones and industrial parks of the province. Of which, Bac Vinh Industrial Park has 34 units; Nam Cam Industrial Park has 61 units; VSIP Industrial Park has 23 units; WHA Industrial Park has 16 units; Hoang Mai Industrial Park has 4 units; Dong Hoi Industrial Park has 3 units; in addition, there are 38 units outside the industrial parks. Of these, there are 26 FDI enterprises; 23 enterprises have 200 or more employees; 45 enterprises have from 100 to less than 200 employees.

In addition, there are currently 2 enterprises with concentrated accommodation areas: Luxshare ICT Nghe An Company - VSIP Industrial Park; Ha An Phat Mineral Joint Stock Company - Nam Cam Industrial Park. As of September 10, 107/130 enterprises have conducted "3 on-site" production with 15,390 workers.

In particular, as of September 10, 2021, in the industrial parks in the whole province, there have been 5 Covid-19 cases in 3 units and 187 cases are F1. Therefore, Covid-19 vaccination is an extremely important task.

Mr. Le Duc Giap - Head of Safety, Security and Environment Department, and Head of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park said: In order to ensure effective prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic, while ensuring the goal of production and business development, our Industrial Park has been allocated 3,570 doses of vaccine so far.

After receiving the vaccine, we quickly deployed vaccination for workers working at the enterprises, especially those at high risk. Although there were only 3,570 doses of vaccine out of a total of nearly 12,000 workers working in the industrial park, however, this is a positive first step in the early widespread vaccination coverage for workers.

Mr. Dinh Van Phong - Acting Head of Enterprise and Labor Management Department, Dong Nam Economic Zone Management Board said: Up to now, Dong Nam Economic Zone Management Board has been allocated 3 batches of vaccines, with a total of 9,700 doses, meeting about 31.7% of the demand for all workers in the economic zone. After being allocated vaccines, Dong Nam Economic Zone Management Board has allocated 2,150 doses/28 enterprises to Bac Vinh Industrial Park; 3,570 doses/26 enterprises to VSIP Industrial Park; 2,980 doses/55 enterprises to Nam Cam Industrial Park and WHA Industrial Park. In addition, 1,000 doses of vaccine have been allocated to enterprises in Hoang Mai Industrial Park, Dong Hoi, Nghia Dan, Cua Lo town...

Mr. Phong also said that the vaccination was directed and deployed quickly, and was carried out very effectively. Up to now, nearly 8,000 people have been vaccinated, all 100% of whom are 100% safe after vaccination./.
