Nghe An: Punishing 5 cases of violating regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control

On May 27, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Chau district issued 5 decisions to administratively sanction 5 people who violated regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control in Dien Thinh commune, Dien Chau district, with a total fine of 21 million VND.

Specifically, Ms. VTH (born in 1984) in Dien Thinh commune, Dien Chau district was fined 15 million VND for "Not temporarily suspending business and service activities in public places according to the requirements of Covid-19 prevention and control".

Administrative sanctions for violations in the medical fieldagainst Tr.VT (born in 2002), CHH (born in 2003) for the act of "Failure to implement personal protective measures for people participating in epidemic prevention and people at risk of infection according to the instructions of health authorities" as prescribed in Point a, Clause 1, Article 12, Decree No. 117/2020/ND-CP dated September 28, 2020 of the Government regulating administrative sanctions in the health sector, each person with a fine of 2 million VND.

All 5 of these people were involved in the previous incident. At around 10:30 a.m. on May 10, 2021, the Working Group of Dien Thinh Commune Police organized a patrol and inspection and discovered that in Nghe An 68 Billiards Club (Hamlet 9, Dien Thinh Commune, Dien Chau District), there were about 10 customers playing billiards, of which 4 were not wearing masks.

The working group has drawn up a record of administrative violations and prepared a file requesting the Chairman of the District People's Committee to issue a decision on penalties.
