A good teacher must be able to instill passion and interest in students.

The teaching competition is a professional activity, an opportunity for teachers to compete and demonstrate their teaching ability. This is also an activity towards Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.

Before that, after the preparation and lecture sessions in the faculties, Vinh University of Technical Education selected 53 lectures from 10 specialized faculties in the whole school. The lecture session was divided into 5 specialized subcommittees, taking place in 3 days from November 7-9.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2018 Excellent Teacher Teaching Conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Thi Minh Phuong - Principal of Vinh University of Technical Education affirmed: Teachers play a great role in improving the quality of education and training, and the pedagogical capacity of lecturers is considered a direct factor determining the training quality of schools.

Teachers must be good at their profession, have pedagogical skills, and be able to keep up with rapid changes in science and technology. At the same time, they must be able to convey passion and interest in their profession.

From this competition, the school leaders also hope that the lecturers will promote their professional and technical skills, innovate their methods, exchange and learn experiences in all aspects of integrated teaching and teaching according to the credit system, in order to find innovative experiences in organizing teaching and learning to disseminate throughout the school. Thereby, they will have a deeper understanding of their profession and their role in the career of cultivating people.
