On the afternoon of July 17, some spillways in Mon Son and Luc Da communes overflowed. In particular, at Khe Moi spillway in Hong Son village, Luc Da commune (the bridge is located on the inter-commune road from the town to Yen Khe, Luc Da, Mon Son), the water level rose high, completely cutting off traffic.

To ensure the safety of the people, Luc Da commune mobilized the police and military forces to set up barriers and barricades to prevent people from passing through when the water level rises; at the same time, assigned people to be on duty 24/7 to prohibit people and vehicles from passing through.

In Cam Lam commune, heavy rain and strong currents damaged the temporary bridge to Bach Son village, isolating 80 households. In addition, the temporary bridge from Thai Son village to Nam Son, Mon Son commune was completely washed away.

Currently, heavy rain continues to fall in Con Cuong district. The district has directed localities to set up warning signs at underground and overflow points, create barriers, and organize forces to be on duty when floodwaters come, to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
