Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ba, a resident of Quang Tien Ward, said that this year, his family is playing with gerbera daisies and roses. To satisfy his hobby, Mr. Ba planted and cared for the flowers himself. "To make the flowers bloom as I wanted, the shop owners gave me instructions on planting and caring techniques," Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ba added.

The owner of a flower and ornamental plant shop in the town said: "There are many customers who buy plants and flowers to grow themselves. Many young people choose lucky bamboo, old roses and gerbera bushes... In general, growing and taking care of flowers yourself is quite good and economical, especially when buying at this time."

Flowers are imported to Thai Hoa town and Nghia Dan district from many different sources, mainly from Hanoi, Da Lat... In addition, orchids, climbing roses, and jade are imported from Taiwan.
“There is still exactly one month left until Tet, but the number of ornamental plants and flowers sold for Tet has increased sharply. Ornamental plants such as mai chieu thuy, phuc loc tho, etc., attract the most customers,” said the owner of Tu Thanh flower shop.
