Nghe An female student wins first prize in national 'Reading Culture Ambassador' contest
(Baonghean.vn) - At the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the 2020 "Reading Culture Ambassador" contest organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 10 contestants from Nghe An won prizes, including Le Thiep Sang, a student of Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School (Do Luong) who excellently won first prize.
"Ambassador" ContestReading culture"2020" organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was launched in February 2020, for students, including the visually impaired. The contest aims to arouse interest and passion for reading; thereby encouraging and promoting the reading movement among the young generation, forming reading habits, methods and skills forpupil, students - an important factor contributing to the development of reading culture in schools and communities.

After 8 months of launching and implementing, the contest has attracted more than 1 million students from nearly 5,400 primary, secondary, high schools, universities and academies to participate. Some localities and units with a large number of entries are Nghe An, Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang, Ha Tinh, Quang Ninh, Can Tho, Hung Yen, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security...

On the afternoon of October 23, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the 2020 "Reading Culture Ambassador" Contest. The Organizing Committee awarded the title of "Reading Culture Ambassador" in 2020 to 2 candidates: Dang Phuong Nam, class B3-LT35, People's Police Academy, Ministry of Public Security; Nguyen Hoang Yen, student of class 10A1, Dong Trieu High School, Dong Trieu town, Quang Ninh province.

At the same time, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to 8 contestants with excellent entries and many other prizes. Nghe An had 10 contestants winning prizes, including 5 primary school students (Nguyen Van Le Lam, Tran Thi Quynh Anh, Le Ngoc Diep, Hoang Tra My, Dau Thai Cuong), 2 secondary school students (Le Thiep Sang, Tran Thao Nguyen), 3 high school students (Le Thi Anh Tho, Nguyen Thi Khanh Huyen, Nguyen Thai Bao), of which Do Luong district had 5 contestants. In particular, Le Thiep Sang, a 9C student at the Secondary SchoolLy Nhat Quang(Do Luong) has excellently won first prize.
