Detected 2 passenger buses illegally transporting large quantities of poultry
(Baonghean.vn) - For two consecutive days, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station inspected two passenger vans carrying 35 cardboard boxes and 2,800 one-day-old poultry without quarantine certificates.
At around 1:00 a.m. on July 15, on National Highway 1A, through Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station inspected passenger bus with license plate 47B-01853 driven by Hoang Manh Tuan (born in 1974), residing in Tu An ward, Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province.
Upon inspection, the vehicle was found to be carrying 20 cardboard boxes and 1,600 one-day-old poultry.

Previously, at 2:40 p.m. on July 14, on National Highway 1A, also at the section passing through Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station inspected a passenger car driven by Dang Quoc Hung (born in 1966), residing in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province, carrying 15 cardboard boxes containing 1,200 poultry.
All poultry were transported by charter from Hanoi to Dak Lak without quarantine certificates.
After being captured, the poultry were handed over to the Livestock and Veterinary Station for destruction according to regulations.
