Decomposing body of a woman found at Do Luong bara dam
(Baonghean.vn) - The body of a woman about 59 years old, about 1m6 tall, wearing a black shirt inside, a cream shirt outside, and black pants.
At 5:00 p.m. on August 12, 2021, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Command Center, Nghe An Provincial Police received a report of a floating body in the Bara dam area, Trang Son commune, Do Luong district.
Fire Prevention and Rescue Police DepartmentThe Provincial Police directed the Rescue and Search and Rescue Team No. 5 to mobilize 01 vehicle transport vehicle, 01 rescue and search and rescue vehicle, 8 officers and soldiers, and specialized underwater rescue equipment to quickly arrive at the scene.
The victim’s body was found lying near the sand discharge outlet of Bara dam, about 100m from the shore, in an advanced state of decomposition. This is a deep, fast-flowing section of water.

The rescue force deployed a rescue team, using specialized equipment, overcoming whirlpools to approach and recover the victim's body, handing it over to local authorities and functional agencies.
The female body has the following characteristics: approximately 59 years old, approximately 1m6 tall, wearing a black shirt underneath a cream-colored shirt, and black pants. The body is currently bloated, possibly having been submerged in water for 3 days. The victim’s identity is currently being determined by the authorities.
