Similarly, the case of patient Ho Cong Ngoc, 26 months old in Dien Trung commune, Dien Chau district was diagnosed with inguinal hernia. Dr. Phan Thanh Ha, who directly performed the surgery on this child patient, shared: “The advantage of this endoscopic technique is that it does not affect surrounding tissues, the patient has less pain, does not need to use antibiotics after surgery, and after only 4 hours the child can walk, instead of having to have autologous tissue transplant surgery as before.”
