Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu attended the National Day for National Security Protection

Attending the festival were comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee; along with leaders of Vinh Provincial and City Police and a large number of officers and people of the ward.

BUILDING 4 MODELS OF NATIONAL SECURITY PROTECTION

Ha Huy Tap Ward has about 6,600 households, with 25,000 people, is a locality with a large population of Vinh City. With that special feature, the local Party Committee and government always determine that the work of building a movement for the whole people to protect national security is a basic measure, a long-term strategy in the work of protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety.

Therefore, the ward has focused on leadership and direction to promote the strength of the entire political system and the entire population to participate in the work of preventing and combating sabotage activities of hostile forces, all types of crimes and social evils, and maintaining security and order.

In 2022 and the first 8 months of 2023, Ha Huy Tap ward has built and launched 2 models: "Skilled Civil Affairs" model and "Drug-free Ward" model; at the same time, it continues to maintain 2 models, including: "Community Camera" model; "Residential area ensuring fire prevention and fighting safety" model.

The work of building a mass movement to protect national security in agencies, enterprises and schools has been advised by the Ward Police to the Party Committee and the government to lead and direct the promotion, linked with the local movement and achieved many practical results. The grassroots security force, civil defense, agency, enterprise and school security forces are increasingly strengthened in quantity and quality.

EACH FAMILY AND NEIGHBORHOOD IS A "FORTUNATE" TO PREVENT AND FIGHT CRIME

In the exciting atmosphere of the National Day for National Security Protection, speaking before a large number of cadres and people of Ha Huy Tap ward, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu assessed: the movement for national security protection in the ward has achieved many results and has truly entered life; thereby acknowledging and congratulating the achievements and results that the Party Committee, government and people of the ward have achieved in the past time.

In the coming time, to continue promoting the combined strength of the entire political system and the entire people to participate in building a movement of the entire people to protect national security, the Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee emphasized a number of key groups of tasks.

In particular, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu suggested that the people of the ward continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, close-knit ties, and help each other to improve their lives; strictly comply with the provisions of the law, maintain peace as it is now; have no violations of the law and social evils, especially drugs and gambling; focus on economic development, improve the quality of life, ensure prosperity and happiness; always raise the spirit of vigilance, promptly detect, fight, and condemn violations of the law with the view that each family, block, and residential group is a "fortress"; prevent and combat crimes, maintain security and order "early, from afar", right from the grassroots.

Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, agencies, departments, branches and organizations must seriously grasp and deeply understand the position, role and importance of the movement for the entire people to protect national security; strengthen leadership, direction and organization of movement building, mobilize the combined strength of the entire political system and the entire people to participate in the task of protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety; innovate both the content, form and measures of movement building work, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new period.

The People's Public Security force continues to advise local Party committees and authorities to lead, direct, issue policies and plans, and implement measures to build a mass movement to protect national security, associated with successfully carrying out the political tasks of the unit and locality.

In particular, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu emphasized the need to take the people as the center, the people as the ears, the eyes, the participating force, the monitoring force, the ultimate service target of the movement to protect national security; strengthen the coordination between the Public Security force and the Military force, the Fatherland Front and departments, branches and organizations in building the movement of the entire people to protect national security.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu also suggested that it is necessary to focus on building a core force to ensure security and order at the grassroots level; especially building an increasingly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern police force, in which the determination is to build the Ha Huy Tap Ward Police force into a model of security, order and urban civilization in accordance with the direction of the Provincial Party Committee's Resolution and the Provincial People's Committee's Project.

Based on the model and provincial-level model units in organizing the National Day for National Security Protection, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention and Control, Social Evils and Building a National Movement for National Security Protection in Vinh City; the Fatherland Front, and the City Police need to learn from experience and replicate many model models with diverse and rich forms of organization, associated with practical and effective work from each residential area during the Festival.

On this occasion, Ha Huy Tap ward was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Public Security; the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils and Building a Movement for the Whole People to Protect National Security of the Province and Vinh City presented gifts to the Ward Steering Committee.
