Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi presents Tet gifts to the poor in Quy Hop district

Chau Dinh is a particularly disadvantaged commune of Quy Hop district, with a natural area of ​​3,956.25 hectares, including 12 hamlets and villages, with 1,648 households and 7,265 people, with 3 ethnic groups Kinh, Thai and Tho living together, of which ethnic minorities account for over 60% of the commune's population. The commune currently has 247 poor households, accounting for 3.4% of the total number of households in the commune.

On this occasion, representatives of the Department of Science and Technology presented support for building a house of gratitude for a poor household with an amount of 60 million VND; International Investment, Development and Construction Joint Stock Company presented 100 gifts worth 100 million VND; representatives of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development and the Nghe An Social Policy Bank presented 20 gifts worth 20 million VND.

Speaking at the program, comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged that the Party Committee, government and mass organizations of Chau Dinh commune have paid attention to directing socio-economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also requested that the locality continue to pay attention to ensuring people's lives, vocational training, career counseling for workers; and support households in difficult circumstances.
