(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 26, comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council met with voters of 4 communes: Dong Hop, Tam Hop, Nghia Xuan and Yen Hop in Quy Hop district; comrade Hoang Quoc Viet - Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment met with voters of 5 communes: Chau Tien, Chau Hong, Chau Thanh, Chau Cuong and Chau Quang.

At the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi informed voters about the expected content and program of the 2nd session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026; the socio-economic situation of the province in the first 6 months of the year, tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of the year; announced the results of handling opinions and recommendations of voters of Quy Hop district reflecting the Provincial People's Council.

The conference recorded 5 voters' feedback related to 23 groups of issues arising in the area.

Accordingly, voters are most concerned about issues related to the field of natural resources and environment, including the issuance of land use right certificates. Voters recommend that provincial authorities pay attention to removing difficulties and obstacles to promptly issue land use right certificates to people.

Also related to the land dispute between the people of Dong Hop, Tam Hop, Yen Hop communes and Dong Hop Forestry, voters said that the province has established an interdisciplinary inspection team to conduct verification but so far it has not been thoroughly resolved. Because of this issue, people are not assured of farming and production. In addition, some contents such as: allocating forest land to people for protection; issuing and exchanging land use right certificates; issuing agricultural land use right certificates; refunding investment capital for rural low-voltage power grids; allowances for concurrent positions of Chairman of the People's Council at the commune level; regimes for village and hamlet officials; the unfinished construction of the Chau Binh commune (Quy Chau) drainage canal, and the deterioration of National Highway 48... were also petitioned by voters.

At the conference, leaders of Quy Hop district explained and clarified a number of contents under their authority.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi acknowledged the opinions of voters and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the leaders of Quy Hop district in addressing issues of concern to voters. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also answered a number of issues within his authority and accepted voters' recommendations to present to the upcoming 2nd session of the Provincial People's Council. Other issues were forwarded to authorities and functional agencies at all levels for response and resolution.

Voters of the above 5 communes proposed a number of contents such as: Plant and animal diseases are increasingly dangerous, it is necessary to increase veterinary staff at the commune level; have more effective measures in preventing the Covid-19 epidemic; the State needs to have appropriate policies for the elderly; regime for former Youth Volunteers; allowances for village and hamlet cadres after the merger. In particular, voters living in communes with mineral mines proposed that the authorities need to strictly control mines that have expired, avoiding the situation where people go to collect dangerous minerals, causing difficulties for the locality in management...
