Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue visited and worked in Thai Hoa town

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 6, a Government delegation led by Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue - Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister attended the ceremony to announce and receive the title of Thai Hoa Town meeting new rural standards and the Certificate of ranking as a national relic of Uncle Ho and visited Dong Hieu Farm.

Welcoming the delegation were comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of the leaders of the Town Party Committee and People's Committee of Thai Hoa Town.

Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue and leaders of Nghe An province planted a souvenir tree at the headquarters of Thai Hoa Town People's Committee.

After 5 years of implementing the construction of new rural areas, on February 24, 2016, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 301/QD-TTg recognizing Thai Hoa town, Nghe An province as meeting new rural standards in 2015.

Thai Hoa has become the first district-level unit of Nghe An province to meet NTM standards and is in the top 20 districts meeting NTM standards nationwide.

The historical site commemorating Uncle Ho's visit to Dong Hieu farm on December 10, 1961 has just been ranked as a national historical site by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Visiting the headquarters of Thai Hoa Town People's Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue and leaders of Nghe An province planted a souvenir tree in the headquarters grounds.

The ceremony to announce the Decision to recognize Thai Hoa town as meeting the new rural standards and to receive the National Historical Relic Certificate of Uncle Ho visiting Dong Hieu farm took place on the evening of May 6, at Dong Hieu commune stadium, Thai Hoa town.

This is also an opportunity to encourage and motivate the efforts of cadres and people of Thai Hoa town in particular and the whole province in general in the movement to build new rural areas, while reviewing the traditions and imprints of the red land of Phu Quy - where Uncle Ho visited.
