Que Ngoc Hai and his wife, the beauty queen of Vinh University, celebrate 5 years of love

On June 1, Que Ngoc Hai shared a wedding photo of him and his wife Duong Thuy Phuong to celebrate their 5th anniversary. "The day we walked together. Happy and laughing. I only hope for that. Until the end," the Viettel Club midfielder wrote in the caption and sent his wife: "I love you". In response, Thuy Phuong also posted a photo wearing a couple shirt, taking a selfie with Ngoc Hai with the caption: "Stay together forever, my friend".

Que Ngoc Hai met Thuy Phuong when a friend invited him to watch the Miss Vinh University contest, when he was still playing for his hometown team SLNA. At the contest, the central defender born in 1993 fell in love at first sight when he saw her beautiful appearance.

Ngoc Hai then asked for Thuy Phuong's phone number and continuously texted her to get to know her. It took nearly 2 years for the captain of the Vietnamese team to win over the beauty queen. The couple got married in January 2018 and 6 months later welcomed their first daughter Sunny.

In addition to their 5th anniversary, June 1st also marked another important milestone in Que Ngoc Hai's family life when his daughter Sunny went to kindergarten. The 27-year-old central defender personally took his daughter's hand to class on her first day of school.

Returning after a break of nearly 3 months due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Que Ngoc Hai and his teammates at Viettel are in good form. They won both recent matches in the National Cup against Khanh Hoa (1-0) and An Giang (2-0) to reach the quarterfinals. On the afternoon of June 5, Viettel will visit Nam Dinh's Thien Truong Stadium in round 3 of V-League 2020.
