Scan the QR code for information and grave locations at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery
(Baonghean.vn) - Through the QR code scanning system, relatives of martyrs, people, and tourists can easily know the information and location of graves at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery, Anh Son District. The project was built by Anh Son District Youth Union and put into operation from July 17, 2022.

“QR code scanning pointVietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery” was put into use on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022), creating convenience for people and relatives of martyrs when visiting the cemetery. Through scanning QR codes, people can search for information about the cemetery, the location of graves, and a number of other useful applications.

To use this application, people only need to use their smartphones to scan the QR code to find out information about the cemetery, the location of graves... The content of the documents and images are edited and designed clearly, in detail, easy to understand and easy to follow.
The launch of the “Vietnam-Laos International Martyrs’ Cemetery QR Code Scanning Point” is a special mark of Anh Son’s youth in applying digital transformation; creating visual tools to support political activities. Thereby contributing to the propaganda and education of traditional history, revolutionary ideals, national pride and self-respect for the young generation.
The Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery in Anh Son District was built in 1976 on an area of nearly 7 hectares and is the largest cemetery gathering the graves of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who fought and died in Laos. This is also the only cemetery in Vietnam named after two countries and two peoples, Vietnam and Laos.

Every year on War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27, the cemetery welcomes thousands of people and relatives of martyrs from provinces and cities across the country to visit, offer incense and flowers to the graves of heroes who died for the cause of fighting for independence and freedom for the nation, and for the noble international sentiment.
