Quynh Luu district has 33 pig farms, 24 mixed farms; about 30 pig farms and mixed farms... The total herd is more than 38,000 pigs; of which there are more than 5,570 sows, 21,121 pigs for meat and 11,123 sows. Up to now, Quynh Luu has recorded 3 outbreaks of African swine fever in Son Hai, Quynh Luong and Quynh Bang communes.
In Hoang Mai town, there are currently over 20,000 pigs, including 5 farms and 36 households. African swine fever outbreaks were detected in Quynh Thien ward, Quynh Di ward and Quynh Lien commune.
