Lessons learned from the Party Congress in Quynh Luu

Implementing Directive No. 35 of the Politburo and instructions of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of Quynh Luu District Party Committee selected and directed 4 grassroots party committees to organize model congresses for the 2020-2025 term.

The units selected for the model congress are basically party committees that have been evaluated and classified as having fulfilled their tasks well or better for many consecutive years.

Despite many difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic, by March 26, 2020, all 4 Party Committees had successfully held their congresses, ensuring the set plan. The progress of construction and quality of documents met the requirements, extensive propaganda work, and the launching of many emulation movements to welcome the Congress created high consensus among cadres and people.

The congress also elected the Party Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and the positions of Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Chairman of the Inspection Committee in the right direction and only elected once to have enough Party Committee members according to the congress' decision.

The newly elected Party Committee members all meet the standards and ensure the conditions of expertise and political theory; the structure ensures the right direction. 100% of positions were elected with the percentage of votes from 76.9 - 100%.

Through the evaluation of model congresses at Party Committees, Quynh Luu District Party Committee will send a notice of conclusion to grassroots Party organizations so that units can absorb and organize better congresses at their grassroots level. At the same time, comrades in the steering group will also draw experience to direct the next grassroots Party organizations.
