The landslide first caused the loss of people's productive land and garden land. Ms. Truong Thi Luan, a resident of Tan village, Nghia Lac commune - one of the households directly affected - said: "Previously, the family planted bamboo bushes in their garden. After a year, the land collapsed, the bamboo bushes were uprooted and pushed far away. At this rate, in just a few years, the landslide will reach the house."

In Tan village, there are 5 more households in danger of landslides. In the face of this situation, in meetings with People's Council delegates at all levels, local authorities as well as households have requested the Sao River Lake Management Board to soon have a solution.
Mr. Lo Xuan Du - Chairman of Nghia Lac Commune People's Committee said: "During meetings with voters, households in Tan village made recommendations about the landslide in Sao River reservoir, which swept away 2,000 m2garden land, production land of 5 households. The local government went to the scene to inspect, made a record and sent a report to the Sao River Lake Management Board to find a solution, but many years have passed and there is still no response…”.
It is currently the rainy and stormy season, and five households in Tan village are very worried that landslides will quickly encroach on their gardens and houses, posing a risk of losing property and endangering their lives.
