Department of Culture and Sports organizes Mid-Autumn Festival at SOS Children's Village Vinh
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 26, at SOS Children's Village Vinh, Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports, Ho Chi Minh Square Management Board and Uncle Ho Monument in coordination with the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, organized a gift giving ceremony and a talk on the topic "Mid-Autumn Festival Remembering Uncle Ho" for children of SOS Children's Village.
Attending the event were comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, and representatives of the Ho Chi Minh Square Management Board and Uncle Ho Statue, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, and Nghe An Civil Servants' Union.

At the talk, delegates, teachers and all students of SOS Children's Village Vinh listened to the staff of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument provide some basic information about the biography, background and career of President Ho Chi Minh, especially touching and authentic stories about his life, morality, style as well as Uncle Ho's feelings and teachings for teenagers and children...

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony and thematic talk, comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports shared the difficulties and living and studying conditions of the children here, and hoped that through this practical activity, the children would continue the tradition of studiousness, well-implement Uncle Ho's Five Teachings, nurture their ambitions; be good, study well, have healthy entertainment, and actively cultivate themselves.
