Since early November 2022, the People's Committee of Ky Son district has mobilized machinery (excavators) and human resources, together with the people of Tay Son commune, to actively repair the damaged road due toflash floodThis solution is to use machinery to level the landslides on the positive slopes, especially on this route there are many large rocks of 2-3 m3 rolling down from the high mountains blocking the road, we have to use large crawler excavators and large drills to break the rocks.

Mr. Vi Van Son - Deputy Head of the Economic - Infrastructure Department of Ky Son district added: The district has coordinated with Tay Son commune to level and overcome over 50,000 m3 of landslides on the positive slope, and compensate for more than 10 landslides on the negative slope. Since December 16, the Muong Xen - Tay Son route has been temporarily opened, allowing cars to enter.commune center

However, to ensure safety for next year's flood season, Ky Son district is submitting a request to all levels for funding to build reinforced concrete embankments at 6 serious landslide sites that are at risk of road closure in the event of heavy rain.
