Thai Hoa: Awarding students who won the 'Pride of Vietnam' award

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 28, the People's Committee of Thai Hoa town held an award ceremony for 3 students of class 12A1 of Thai Hoa High School who won first prize in the video clip category of the "Pride of Vietnam" contest to learn about national history and culture.

The contest was held for the second time by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training. Surpassing more than 500 video clips, the work “News #55: Returning to Thai Hoa” by 3 students Le Anh Tuan, Nguyen Thai Phong and Pham Huyen Trang, students of class 12A1 of Thai Hoa High School won first prize.

The video clip “News #55: Returning to Thai Hoa” is over 6 minutes long with very attractive and lively music introducing the geography, history, landscapes, and attractive cuisine of the town on the Hieu River.

Those are Sao Sa mountain peak, Bau Sen lake, Hieu bridge, Lang Vac festival, ancient tamarind rows in Tay Ho 1 block, Quang Tien ward, planted since the French colonial period. Nghe An cuisine with the flavor of the red basalt plateau is also cleverly introduced by the friends in the song with dishes such as banh beo, chao canh, banh hoa nau, honey...

Contest to learn about national history and culture "Pride of Vietnam"to create a healthy and useful playground for union members and students, to arouse the spirit of passion for learning history, patriotism, national pride, and responsibility of Vietnamese youth in studying, training, establishing themselves, starting a career, and participating in building and defending the Fatherland.

This is the second time Thai Hoa High School students have won first prize in this contest. At the first “Proud of Vietnam” contest, held in 2015, 3 students from the school also won first prize in the video clip category with the song “Thai Hoa in me”.
