Visiting and giving gifts to 18 union members in difficult circumstances in Yen Thanh district

On the afternoon of August 21, on the occasion of the anniversary of the traditional day of the Party's Mass Mobilization work, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation organized a working delegation to visit and present gifts to union members in difficult circumstances in Yen Thanh district. This practical activity also has the meaning of celebrating the 94th anniversary of its founding.UnionVietnam and welcome the success of the 19th Congress of Nghe An Trade Union.

The delegation included representatives of the People's Mobilization Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation, the Provincial Youth Union, the Women's Union, the Farmers' Association and the Veterans' Association. Comrade Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, was the head of the delegation. Also welcoming the delegation was Comrade Le Thi Hoai Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Yen Thanh District Party Committee.

Working at MLB Limited Liability Company, the delegation spent a lot of time visiting the factory, talking, listening to the thoughts and aspirations of union members, workers and businesses. MLB Limited Liability Company is a garment enterprise with 100% Japanese investment capital, located in Yen Thanh district for more than 10 years, creating stable jobs for thousands of rice farmers.

At the meeting, the delegation acknowledged the achievements of MLB Limited Liability Company, and hoped that the company and its union would continue to make new strides in business and production, improving benefits for union members and employees. In addition, the delegation hoped that the company's leadership would pay attention to and consider the issue ofestablish a party cellat the business in the coming time.

On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to 18 union members in difficult circumstances, of which 15 union members were workers in difficult circumstances at MLB Limited Liability Company, Yen Thanh District; 3 union members were preschool teachers in difficult circumstances in Yen Thanh District. Each gift was worth 1 million VND.

The activity is an opportunity for the Provincial Federation of Labor as well as provincial-level socio-political organizations to grasp the situation of grassroots trade union activities and the working life of workers at the enterprise.
