Vinh City continues to maintain 14 disease control checkpoints at gateways
(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh City leaders said that the city will continue to maintain 14 gateways to Vinh City, however, it will create favorable conditions for people from within the province to travel.

Accordingly, the city continues to maintain 14 checkpoints to control people and vehicles entering and exiting at the gateways, however, it will create conditions for people in the province to pass through the checkpoints. For citizens from other provinces entering and exiting the city, they will be strictly checked".

Comrade Tran Ngoc Tu - Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee added: "With 29 ward and commune checkpoints, the city will have reasonable adjustments. The city is currently drafting specific instructions for people and units, wards and communes to implement."
On the same afternoon, Vinh City issued a document announcing the dismantling of 29 checkpoints on inter-village and inter-commune roads bordering Hung Nguyen and Nghi Loc districts established by the People's Committees of wards and communes, while continuing to maintain the operation of 14 checkpoints on main roads established by the City People's Committee. These checkpoints are responsible for medical control of people from other provinces, people coming to and returning from epidemic areas that are implementing Directive 16 and higher. The control content is implemented according to the instructions of the Department of Transport and the Department of Health. Previously, Vinh City issued Plan No. 207/KH-UBND on the implementation of Decision No. 3327/QD-UBND, dated September 12, 2021 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province on adjusting measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in Vinh City.
