The speech at the celebration by comrade Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee affirmed: The birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam exactly 90 years ago is a great historical event, a major turning point in the history of our country's revolution, marking a brilliant milestone on the path of national development.

During 90 years of construction and development, although the path forward has been winding and complicated at times, thanks to its steadfast political will, true modesty, openness to learning, always listening to people's opinions, seriously self-criticizing, correcting shortcomings, and being trusted and supported by the people, the Party has led the Vietnamese revolution to overcome all difficulties and challenges, moving forward step by step.

"Our people are not only proud of the glorious Party and great Uncle Ho, but it is also the Party and Uncle Ho who have given the entire Vietnamese people strength, life and faith to gain victory in the struggles for national liberation and to build and develop the country with the achievements of 35 years of renovation" - Secretary of the City Party Committee Phan Duc Dong emphasized.

Reviewing the glorious 90-year journey of the Party and the great role and contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the founder and trainer of our Party, Vinh City Party Secretary Phan Duc Dong also affirmed that the correct, creative and talented leadership of our Party in each historical period and from practical experience to draw many valuable lessons, enriching the 90-year tradition of the Party that is extremely proud that today's and future generations have the responsibility to preserve and promote.

That is the tradition of infinite loyalty to the interests of the nation and people; the tradition of maintaining independence and autonomy in policies, firmly grasping, applying and creatively developing Marxism-Leninism in the specific conditions of Vietnam.

That is the tradition of blood ties between the Party and the people; the tradition of solidarity, unity, organization, and discipline on the basis of comradely love and the principles of self-criticism and criticism; the tradition of loyal and pure international solidarity on the foundation of Marxism-Leninism...

As President Ho Chi Minh affirmed: “Our Party is ethical, civilized. It is unified, independent, peaceful and prosperous.”

During the 90-year glorious journey of the Party, under the guiding light and leadership of the Party, Nghe An in general and Vinh city in particular have affirmed their pioneering role, "standing first" in the revolutionary struggles of the nation and in the cause of building and developing the country and homeland, creating a fairly comprehensive development in terms of economy - society, national defense - security as well as building and consolidating a strong Party organization and political system at all levels.

Proud of the Party's glorious 90-year tradition, and at the same time inheriting the achievements and experience of the Party's leadership and the State's management throughout the past, the Party Committee and people of Nghe An province in general and the Party Committee and people of Vinh city in particular are determined to make greater efforts, striving to develop Nghe An faster and higher, becoming a fairly well-off province as Uncle Ho always wished; developing Vinh city comprehensively and modernly, soon becoming a smart city, a growth locomotive, an innovation center of the province and the North Central region.
