Thai Hoa Town rewards outstanding units in crime prevention

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 5, the People's Committee of Thai Hoa town awarded 20 million VND to the town police for their outstanding achievements in crime prevention in 2017.

In recent times, the fight against all types of crime has been implemented synchronously by the Thai Hoa town police in all aspects. Thereby, it has contributed to ensuring security, order and social safety in the area.

In particular, in November 2017, the Town Police discovered many cases and broke many major cases such as: Coordinating with the Provincial Police to investigate and clarify the case of fraud and property appropriation with high-tech elements, domestic subjects colluding with foreign subjects, defrauding and appropriating property worth more than 400 million VND from many people in provinces and cities across the country.

On November 27, the town police continued to crack down on a property theft case, arresting Vu Van Dung, born in 1989, in Nghia Long commune, Nghia Dan district, and confiscating 8 motorbikes, with a total value of about 150 million VND.

In the fight against violations of the law on firecrackers, the police arrested 3 cases and 3 subjects for illegal storage of firecrackers, seized 28 kg of various types of firecrackers; mobilized to recover 60 kg of firecrackers, 23 kg of explosives, 15 guns that shoot cone bullets...

With the above achievements, the Chairman of Thai Hoa Town People's Committee decided to award the officers and soldiers of the Town Police with 20 million VND./.
