(Baonghean.vn) - Despite the rainy weather, the Mid-Autumn Festival in Ky Son, Que Phong was still extremely warm and full of joy. The sparkling star lanterns, fruit trays, and special lion dances... brought boundless joy to children who often face many hardships in life.
Evening of September 26,Ky Son districtMid-Autumn Festival was organized for children in the border commune of Muong Tip. Since the evening, despite the rain, hundreds of children from kindergarten to primary school in the commune were brought by their parents to Muong Tip 2 Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuc Hanh - Principal of Muong Tip Kindergarten said: The number of students from the commune attending the Mid-Autumn Festival this year is more than 400. Some students from remote villages were unable to come due to heavy rain. Most of the children are Thai, Mong, Kho Mu ethnic groups, and their circumstances are still difficult. Having a Mid-Autumn Festival is very meaningful to the children.
For many children, holding a star lantern in their hands to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival is truly a joy. “My grandchild at home cannot celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival like this. Even though I have to walk in the rain, I still take him to celebrate with his friends,” said Moong Thi Hoa in Ta Do village.

Ms. Vi Thi Quyen - Vice Chairman of Ky Son District People's Committee said: In 2023, Ky Son district chose Muong Tip commune to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival. This is an area with many difficulties, people's lives are still lacking, so organizing the festival for children is also a top priority. On this occasion, Ky Son district authorities at all levels also presented many meaningful gifts to encourage children to overcome difficulties and study well.
To bring joy to children in the border commune of Hanh Dich, on the evening of September 26,Que Phong districtorganized the Mid-Autumn Festival with the theme "Full Moon Festival Night".

At this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival, Que Phong District, Hanh Dich Commune, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists donated nearly 200 meaningful gifts to students. Disabled and severely disabled children in the area also received their own gifts. In addition, gifts such as warm clothes and bicycles will help disadvantaged students feel more secure on their way to school.
