Renting a hotel for drug dealing

On September 27, Dien Chau District Police said they had just arrested Nguyen Duc Nga (28 years old, living in Hamlet 9, Dien Doai Commune, Dien Chau District) while he was trafficking drugs.

Previously, through understanding the situation, drug detectives of Dien Chau District Police discovered a young man with a slim figure who often bought and sold drugs in other areas for use and retail to addicts to make a profit.

It is known that the subject has been using crystal meth for many years and has no clear place of residence. He has a wide network of connections and often gathers addicts at motels and hotels in the district to organize drug buying and selling. When addicts have a need, he will collect orders and go to the Western region of Nghe An to buy and sell retail.

Realizing the seriousness of the case, on September 7, the district police leaders held a meeting and decided to establish Project 918D to fight and eradicate this ring.

After a period of information gathering, the detectives learned that Nguyen Duc Nga often rode a motorbike alone from Dien Chau to some mountainous districts in the west of Nghe An to get "goods". When the goods were brought back to the lowlands, the addicts would call Nga in advance, then make an appointment to meet at a hotel in the district. When they arrived, the addicts had to knock on the door and give their names, then Nga would open the door and let them in to make the transaction.

Through screening, the detectives discovered that drug addicts from places such as Quynh Nghia (Quynh Luu), Dien Truong (Dien Chau), Do Thanh (Yen Thanh) often appeared at 9 pm in the area around the motel Nga was renting.

Using sharp professional measures, on September 20, detectives determined that Nga rented the Hoang Long motel (Hamlet 13, Dien Truong Commune) to organize drug trafficking for addicts.

Determining that Nga would be storing a large amount of drugs on his person, the task force divided into two reconnaissance teams to ambush the subject.

At exactly 9:30 p.m. the same day, the first task force broke into the room where Nga was renting, approached and restrained 3 subjects. At this time, the second task force from the outer ring quickly broke in and restrained 4 addicts outside the door. At the scene, the police force arrested 7 subjects. Evidence, seized in Nga's room were 3 packages of heroin weighing 29 grams of crystal meth, 1 cell phone, 1 electronic scale.

At the police station, Nguyen Duc Nga confessed to his crime. Nga confessed that he bought the drugs from an unknown man in Vinh city for 12 million VND with the intention of using them and selling them to drug addicts for profit.

Currently, Dien Chau District Police have initiated a criminal case, prosecuted the accused, and detained Nguyen Duc Nga for illegal drug trafficking to continue investigating and expanding the case.
