Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee visited and wished Happy New Year to officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police

Delegates of the Provincial Police included Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department and other members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial Police Department and 250 officers and soldiers representing thousands of officers and soldiers directly performing duties during the Lunar New Year.

Every time Tet comes, all Vietnamese people gather with their families to celebrate Tet with many hopes and good wishes.

However, for generations of cadres and soldiers of the People's Public Security in general, and Nghe An Provincial Public Security in particular, before thinking about the Tet reunion, they all determined the important task, which is to focus on protecting security and order, serving the people to enjoy Tet, welcome Spring safely and healthily, with the spirit of "staying awake so that people can sleep well, staying awake so that people can have fun; taking the joy and happiness of the people as their joy and reason for living".

Speaking at the program, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and provincial leaders, sent to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Police Party Committee, the Provincial Police Department's Board of Directors and all officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police force warm regards and best wishes for a new year of peace, prosperity and all the best.

The year 2024 has come to an end, the year of Giap Thin is also about to end, the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: It can be affirmed that, for Nghe An province, 2024 is a very good year, achieving many comprehensive and positive achievements, from economic growth, budget revenue, investment attraction to cultural, sports activities, social security work... To achieve that result, there is a great effort of the Provincial Police force.

As the core force in protecting security and order in the area, the Provincial Police have performed very well the task of advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Party committees and local authorities on measures to ensure security and order under the direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security and the tasks of Nghe An Provincial Police.

The security and order situation in Nghe An province for many years and especially in 2024 has been very good. All tasks have been completed well, many tasks have been completed excellently.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung also emphasized that the Nghe An Provincial Police force is a "strong brand" in suppressing all types of crimes, from criminal, economic, corruption, to drug and high-tech crimes... In 2024, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police carried out many large and famous projects, which were commended by the Ministry of Public Security and provincial leaders.

Nghe An Provincial Police is also a leading unit in state management, administrative reform, digital transformation, and is a permanent agency and a very effective advisor on the implementation of Project 06. Particularly in administrative reform, Nghe An Provincial Police is the leading unit of the national police force, ranking first for 9 consecutive years.

The Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged the accompaniment of the Nghe An Provincial Police force with the provincial Party Committee and government, paying attention to social security in the area. In the Program to mobilize and support the construction and repair of houses for the poor and people with difficult housing circumstances in the period of 2023 - 2025, up to now, out of more than 12,000 houses in the province that have been supported for repair and new construction, the Police force has contributed the most. Through the years of organizing Tet for the poor, the Provincial Police force has also contributed a lot. The spirit of police officers and soldiers "Forgetting themselves for the country, serving the people" is clearly reflected in the image of the Nghe An Provincial Police force.

2024 is a very special year for Nghe An Provincial Police when it receives the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces and for the 10th consecutive year is the leading unit to receive the Prime Minister's excellent flag in emulation movements.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of the province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung acknowledged, warmly commended, congratulated and respectfully thanked the achievements and contributions of the Nghe An Provincial Police force to the economic and social development, ensuring national defense and security in the province.

The head of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee emphasized that 2025 is a year of many major events in the country. The province identified it as a very important year. Nghe An will, together with other localities across the country, accelerate and make breakthroughs to achieve the goals and targets of the 2020-2025 term.

At the same time, the province will organize party congresses at all levels, towards the 20th Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress; carry out a revolution in streamlining the organizational apparatus; in that revolution, the police force makes extremely important contributions; including sacrifices.

The provincial leaders hope that with the spirit of continuing the tradition, promoting the achievements and feats achieved in the past time, Nghe An Provincial Police will continue to excellently complete its tasks, especially being proactive in grasping the situation, preparing forces, means... with the goal of ensuring security, order and stability in the province, contributing to the successful implementation of the province's economic and social goals.

The traditional Tet holiday is an occasion for family reunion. While everyone and every family is reunited, police officers and soldiers continue to carry out the task of "staying awake so that people can sleep, watching so that people can have fun". The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Provincial Police Department will pay attention and create favorable conditions for comrades to carry out their Tet duty.

Speaking at the program, Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police Department reported to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the plan to ensure security and order of the Provincial Police force during the Lunar New Year 2025 and social security activities for the disadvantaged and those in difficult circumstances.

“On behalf of the provincial police force, I promise to the Provincial Party Secretary and the Standing Committee members of the Provincial Party Committee that no matter what the circumstances, the police force will unite, be unified, and be of one mind to ensure security and safety for people to enjoy Tet and welcome Spring peacefully,” said Major General Bui Quang Thanh.

On this occasion, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Trung and other members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of the Provincial People's Committee presented gifts to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025 to Nghe An Provincial Police and directly visited, presented gifts and encouraged officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police forces before departing for duty.
